Namoi Sustainability

All member councils are striving to lead by example through the integration of sustainability into core business and reducing their ecological footprint.  Comprehensive energy, water and waste audits will be conducted of all Council Assets in order to create a baseline dataset and to determine priorities for reducing energy and water use, and waste generation across the various Councils facilities.  Training of Council staff for basic sustainability and resource efficiency as well as Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) training are also important tasks to be carried out.
